Alpha Furmint is a flagship of Bardon Winery, located in Erdőbénye, in the heart of the Tokaj wine region. This full-bodied, semi-dry white boasts outstanding balance, elegance, and complexity.
The bouquet combines floral and honeyed aromas with elegant hints of oak, while the palate is dominated by tropical fruits and ripe peach, complemented by pronounced minerality and subtle buttery notes. The wine is rich on the palate, with an extended, lingering finish.

Producer: Bardon Winery
The Bardon Winery was founded in 2007 in Erdőbénye, one of the most notable villages in the historic Tokaj-Hegyalja region. This family-run winery cultivates vineyards in exceptional sites such as Meszes, Lapis, and Sarkad, where the diverse soil composition and microclimate give the wines their unique character. Some of their parcels are over 100 years old, lending rare depth and complexity to their wines.
The winery’s philosophy is based on minimal intervention: chemicals are avoided both in the vineyard and during vinification, allowing the wines to reflect the terroir as purely as possible. In their wines, the true and distinctive character of Tokaj comes through.
