Flavor Profile
Disgorged pétillant naturel made from Pinot Noir and Syrah. Compared to sparkling wines made with secondary fermentation, the grapes in this case were harvested in a fully ripe state, so acid is not the central element of the flavor map: ripe cherries forest berries define its profile, against a backdrop of restrained minerality. An exciting, nicely rounded offering which can be opened safely thanks to the disgorging process: it does not foam out!

Vértes Birtok is a young, dynamic winery in Hungary’s Etyek-Buda wine region. The estate takes a natural, low-intervention approach to winemaking, with a focus on clean, elegant wines that express the character of their vineyards. Grapes are handled gently, fermentation is often spontaneous, and cellar intervention is kept to a minimum, allowing the fruit and terroir to remain at the forefront.
The cool climate of Etyek-Buda is particularly well suited to fresh, vibrant white wines and sparkling wines, while the estate’s range also includes elegant rosés and light-bodied reds. Across the portfolio, the emphasis is on freshness, balance, and an unforced expression of the region.
