Flavor Profile

Ezerjó is the classic heritage grape variety of the underrated Mór region. Brigád’s Vén Kecske is a blend of Ezerjó harvested from the old vines of two single vineyards. After the harvest, one part spontaneously fermented in steel tanks, while the remainder matured in small Hungarian oak barrels. After fermentation, both were blended in a larger oak barrel and aged on fine lees for 5 months. The result is a complex, refreshing and fruity Ezerjó with gentle oak spice, demonstrating the serious potential of the region.

PRODUCER INFORMATION

Producer: Brigád Winery

Brigád Winery began its journey in the Mór wine region in 2013. Since then, the winery has grown from a young and ambitious newcomer into an established producer in the region. Ezerjó, the signature grape variety of Mór, is at the heart of their vineyards, alongside Riesling, Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay, and Blaufränkisch.

Through continuous growth and expansion, the winery now cultivates four hectares of vineyards. The two founders, Ákos and Tamás, remain closely involved in every stage of the process, personally overseeing the work from the vineyard to the cellar.
