Flavor Profile

The young team at Brigád Winery produces their deeply complex Ezerjó Selection exclusively in outstanding vintages: so far they have had this opportunity twice in their career. The most beautiful clusters, including those already slightly shriveled, were harvested later than usual, at the end of October. After maceration and gentle pressing, the must was transferred into oak barrels. Slow but steady fermentation carried out by the grapes' own yeasts, continued until the end of December, followed by 10 months of aging on fine lees. The result is an elegant, floral and fruity Ezerjó with well integrated oak spice.

PRODUCER INFORMATION

Producer: Brigád Winery

Brigád Winery began its journey in the Mór wine region in 2013. Since then, the winery has grown from a young and ambitious newcomer into an established producer in the region. Ezerjó, the signature grape variety of Mór, is at the heart of their vineyards, alongside Riesling, Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay, and Blaufränkisch.

Through continuous growth and expansion, the winery now cultivates four hectares of vineyards. The two founders, Ákos and Tamás, remain closely involved in every stage of the process, personally overseeing the work from the vineyard to the cellar.
