Oude Geuze Brett-Elle 2024 is a blend of Lambiek Fabriek’s own lambics from different vintages, fermented using a traditional process and matured in oak barrels. Its color is pale yellow, and its aroma is dominated by apple and apple peel like fruitiness and a distinct brettiness, which is also reflected in the sip.

Lambiek Fabriek was founded in 2016 by Jo Panneels and Jozef Van Bosstraeten in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, Belgium. The brewery’s philosophy combines respect for tradition with a distinctly modern spirit. Their lambic and gueuze beers are brewed using traditional methods and ingredients, while their visual identity takes a more unconventional approach.
Instead of the classic striped labels traditionally associated with lambic, Lambiek Fabriek bottles feature a distinctive round label bearing a ram’s skull. Their branding is equally recognizable in the names of their beers, all of which end in “-Elle,” making the brewery’s bottles instantly identifiable.
